Digital Menu Design Tips

Create a clear, attractive digital menu that helps customers find favorites quickly and complete their orders with confidence.

Digital Menu Design Tips

Lead with bestsellers and sets, then drinks and add-ons. Guests scanning a table QR have seconds, not minutes. A tight first screen is more valuable than a long photo gallery — especially on QR code table ordering software.

Use one photo per item when it helps recognition, and keep names short. Put spice, size, and extras in modifiers instead of stuffing them into the title. If an item is gone, mark it unavailable rather than hoping guests will skip it.

Test the menu on a small phone in store lighting. If a category takes more than two scrolls to reach, split it. For the storefront side of this work, see merchant store and menu setup.
